Against the grain.
On your side.
If putting the owner first makes us outsiders, we are comfortable standing outside. PAR1AHWARE exists to help people make technology their own.
Why the name PAR1AH?
A pariah is an outsider: someone pushed beyond the accepted circle. We take that name as a commitment to independent thinking and to people whose needs too often come second in technology.
When platform rules and business priorities narrow what people can do with their own devices, we believe those rules deserve to be questioned. The person who bought the hardware should have a meaningful say in how it works.
Ownership should mean something
Our vision is software that gives people more freedom to choose their tools, customize their environment, understand their devices and decide how their information is handled. We want to earn your trust through useful software and clear choices.
One identity. A shared purpose.
PAR1AH DYNAM1CS is the parent identity. PAR1AHWARE brings that vision into software, from keyboards and documents to browsers and the operating system itself.
Principles backed by engineering
Borrow → Adapt → Build. Start with sound engineering foundations, contribute where we can and build original experiences around the user.
Our products are at different stages of development. We publish selected source code, test incrementally and describe planned capabilities as plans. Greater control is the direction; each release must show the progress.
Your preferences should shape your experience. Customization and understandable controls are central to our design.
People deserve clear explanations of what software does, what it accesses and where its limits are.
Share knowledge, listen to users and welcome contributions that help people take more control of their technology.
